We would like to thank all those who supported and attended the Balé Folclórico events in Philadelphia during the week of February 7-11, 2011. We received a lot of enthusiastic feedback about the opportunity to exchange with the members of Balé Folclórico through their workshops and other social networking events. This week has been an important step in laying the foundation for their next visit to Philadelphia. Please read the local press coverage of Balé's visit in these two articles:
The Philadelphia Tribune

We would also like to thank the members of Balé Folclórico for graciously and generously sharing their wealth of knowledge about Afro-Brazilian culture. The Philadelphia community greatly appreciated your presence here.
